Sign-up to Receipt Bot

Receipt Bot makes accounting and bookkeeping easy, saving you time and money. You can collate bills, receipts, invoices and bank statements using Receipt Bot mobile or web apps. Receipt Bot extracts data with the highest accuracy, assigns accounting categories and updates your cloud accounting software, such as Xero and QuickBooks Online.

In this article, we will cover the sign-up process for Receipt Bot. You have the following options to register an account on Receipt Bot:

  1. Sign up with email/password
  2. Sign up with Xero
  3. Sign up with Google
  4. Sign up with Microsoft

You can follow these steps to register an account on Receipt Bot.

Step 1 – Navigate to the Receipt Bot sign-up page. (https://app.receipt-bot.com/Account/SignUpOrgInfo)

Step 2 – Provide basic information like the following;
– First Name
– Last Name
– Email Address
– Password (Must be at least eight characters and a mix of lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers and special characters, e.g.! @%.

Step 3 Complete the reCAPTCHA check (this is to avoid spam Sign-Up that can impact the performance of our system)

Step 4 – Agree to the terms of use, privacy policy and email communications policy of Receipt Bot.

Step 5 – Click the Sign-up button.
If you see any validation errors, such as a valid name or email address requirement, please resolve them before proceeding.

Step 6 – You will receive a verification email at the given address. Please copy the verification code from the email.

Step 7 – Paste the verification code into the Receipt Bot app.

Your Receipt Bot account should now be created, and you should already be logged into the system. On the first login, you will see the add business page. Please refer to the “Add a New Business” article for details.


You can sign up for Receipt Bot using your Xero credentials by following these steps:

Step 1 – Navigate to the Receipt Bot sign-up page. (https://app.receipt-bot.com/Account/SignUpOrgInfo)

Step 2 – Click on the Sign-up with Xero button.

Step 3 – Login with your Xero credentials.

Step 4 – Select the organization in Xero to connect with the Receipt Bot.

Step 5 – Provide a password. (It will be used for logging into Receipt Bot only and not used in Xero.)

Step 6 – Complete the reCAPTCHA check (this is to avoid spam Sign-Up that can impact the performance of our system)

Step 7 – Agree to the terms of use, privacy policy and email communications policy of Receipt Bot.

Step 8 – Click the Sign-up button.
If you see any validation errors, such as a requirement for a valid name or email address, please resolve them to proceed.

Step 9 – You will receive a verification email at the given address. Please copy the verification code from the email.

Step 10 – Paste the verification code into the Receipt Bot app.

Upon completing the sign-up form, Receipt Bot will create a new account and business based on the details imported from your Xero account. You will be navigated to the business dashboard page, where you can start uploading documents to experience the magic of automated data entry.


You can also sign up with your Google credentials by following the steps below:

Step 1 – Navigate to the Receipt Bot sign-up page. (https://app.receipt-bot.com/Account/SignUpOrgInfo)

Step 2 – Click on the  “Continue with Google” button.

Step 3 – Enter your Google credentials or select the relevant account if logged in.

Step 4 – You will receive a verification email at the email address. Please copy the verification code from the email.

Step 5 – Paste the verification code into the Receipt Bot app.

Your Receipt Bot account should now be created. Next, you will need to set up your practice or business in Receipt Bot. Please refer to the following article for details: Add a New Business.

Now, you can use the “Continue with Google” to log in to Receipt Bot.


You can also sign up with your Microsoft credentials by following the steps below:

Step 1 – Navigate to the Receipt Bot sign-up page. (https://app.receipt-bot.com/Account/SignUpOrgInfo)

Step 2 – Click on the  “Continue with Microsoft” button.

Step 3 – Enter your Microsoft credentials or select the relevant account if logged in.

Step 4 – You will receive a verification email at the email address. Please copy the verification code from the email.

Step 5 – Paste the verification code into the Receipt Bot app.

Your Receipt Bot account should now be created. Next, you will need to set up your practice or business in Receipt Bot. Please refer to the following article for details: Add a New Business.

Now, you can use the “Continue with Microsoft” to log in to Receipt Bot.
